Kasba Kali Temple
Kamalasagar Kali Temple was built on a hill-top by Maharaja Dhanya Manikya in the late 15th century. It is also called Kasba Kali Bari. It is situated at distance of 28 km from Agartala and 50 km from Udaipur.It is situated just beside the Bangladesh border. The large ‘Kamala Sagar’ lake dug by King Dhanya Manikya adds extra ordinary beauty to this holly temple. It is a religious spot for the devotees of goddess kali. Beside this this is one of the most popular picnic spot of Tripura. Legends reveal that this lake was excavated in the 15th century by Maharaja Dhanya Manikya.There is beautiful government run lodge at Kamalasagar named Comilla View Tourist Lodge. This tourist place falls under the jurisdiction of Siphaijala District and Under Bishalgarh RD Block.
