Demonetization, a hasty move: Manik Sarkar
Udaipur,25February,2017:The 10th central conference of Tribal Students' Union (TSU) has started today at Amarpur under Gomati District and the conference will be continued on February 27. All members of TSU are taking part in this conference as delegates.The conference has started with an impressive public meeting at the Amarpur Chandibari ground. It has addressed by Chief Minister of Tripura Manik Sarkar, Chief Executive Member of TTAADC Radha Charan Debbarma, Dr Vikram SFI joint secretary. The meeting has chaired by TSU president.Manik Sarkar, in his speech, has mostly criticized the move of demonetization. He said it that demonetization a hasty movement of central government. He said the central government has taken this step without any preparation and created hardships for corers of people. None of the standard objectives of demonetization have yet been achieved while more than hundred persons, mostly peasants, workers, small businesspersons have died standing in queues. It is nothing but a ploy to legalize the black money. Now as people are questioning it that the real motive behind the move, the central government advocating cashless transaction or economy. It is real question that our country India where lacks adequate infrastructure cannot afford to move cashless all of sudden.Manik Sarkar criticizing the opposition parties in the state Tripura. Sarkar said, the BJP, TMC, IPFT and the INPT have never raised their voice for development of the state. On the contrary, the oppositions are conspiring so that the state does not get its due share from the centre. The central government is reluctant to take any positive steps to solve these problems; rather they are trying to reduce the allocations in MGNREGA, rural development. At the same time, conspiracy is afoot to harm the communal and ethnic amenity in the state.A new central committee will comprise after completing the conference with elected members. A president and general secretary will elect the conference.
